Now earlier, in a different fandom, I caught the Fort Look at the second Hobbit movie that Peter Jackson was doing on Livestream, and then somehow found myself on tumblr. Which is a dangerous place, especially in this fandom (I give you Smauglock, Durincest, and artwork that make Harry + Max seem freaking tame and innocent and child friendly). I mean, we all know I have read the odd Cartercest at some point, and written some KFC, but no. Juuuust no. And yet, I am still there. Mostly for the awesomeness that is Thranduil (Lee Pace), and of course favorite elf Legolas (and ok, I admit it, all the damn dwarves, every single one of them!)

So, picked up some beauties, that I have put beneath a cut, because I rock like that. Also, slightly spoilerish for the second movie, but then again, the book did come out in '37..

Hiya guys!!!! Guess what?! I'm still alive. And lurking places.

Just wanted to check inn, and also say that my job finally got around to giving me a raise! Still making way less than I should given my education, but it's customer service, so it's hardly rocket science, and besides, it's not like they'll pay us more than they absolutely have to.

In fact, the only reason I got the raise in the first place is cause we have a new law regarding temp agencies, which states that we now are to be paid what they pay their full-time employees that do the same job. But hey, more money is more money, so yay!! Mostly cause this means I can totally afford to actually go to Camp this year!!!

Also requested time off for Camp, which should hopefully work out just fine. :) Now I just need the Boys to announce a tour sometime in the fall that the earliest, so I have time to save up for it. ;)

And by that I mean I have submitted my MTYG story once again. I'm horribly about posting, or keeping up with my flist, I know this. But I do try, and I am really glad that once again I got my story inn on time. And this time, I am really quite pleased with the end result. Now I just gotta cross my fingers and hope my recipient likes it!

Of course, now I gotta wait for my own story! To whoever wrote or is still trying to write that, I already love it, because you, whoever you are little Santa, is writing it for me!

And I'm not talking about NaNo, as that's not for a few days yet. No, I'm talking about that other thing that happens every single years just around this time. Drawing a blank (shame on you), have a little hint:

It's sign-up time for MTYG

I've signed up, and I submitted my santa letter. And to my horror discovered I completely forgot that last year (the letter I mean). I can only blame the mishap on my head being filled with thesis stuff. Which is not an excuse, but it's all I've got. This years letter was edited to make it even better though, so at least there's that, lol.

I haven't actually been posting much, so I haven't actually told you guys how I have been unemployed pretty much since this summer and been searching for a full time job and going kind of crazy not doing anything all day (seriously, doing nothing all day has been slowly driving me insane!!). All that is over though, cause today I got an offer for a new job!!!

It's customer support for a mobile phone company, and it's nothing special, but it's full time, and I start my training on Monday! I was at the interview earlier today, and for the call that they were offering me the job an hour ago.

And I seriously did the jumping up-and-down like a crazy person, which doesn't matter cause I was in my living room so no one saw (unless people was looking through the alarm company security cameras, but those are only supposed to activate if the alarm goes. If not, they have seen me do plenty of crazy things, so this should be nothing new).

So yay, I have a job, and England next year is thus financed!

For once, I want it to be Monday!

So there's this picture all over the flist that is making me grin like there is no tomorrow. You know the picture I am talking about, the one with a FIFTH Backstreet Boy in it!

I may have squeee'ed a little when I first saw it, and now I just can't stop grinning! And I realize I need to get me some new icons, cause I need a group one with Kevin in it! He is already making up long and complicated sentences to answer simple questions about the new album, so now all we need is an interview where he reminds us that Brian is in fact his cousin, whom he has known all his life, and the WORLD WILL BE COMPLETE!

In more personal news, I have started to seriously do something about my weight. Sure, I've been working out for years, and have tried and tried and tried again to loose weight, but now, I am actually managing it. Only started a week ago, but am down 3 pounds already. Got forever to go, but it is a start!

And yes, the thoughts of a VIP Platinum pictures with ALL FIVE BOYS is really helping my inspiration and motivation to loose weight, as I want that picture to be perfect! They promised a tour next year, and they and well better deliver, cause I want a picture with them all damnit! LOL.

AJ McLean is having a GIRL!!! And they are naming her Ava Jaymes.

And yes, telling everyone you will be the one who will mess up the plans of Baby Backstreet by having a girl, pretty much means you jinxed yourself.

By the weekend, I promise. Tomorrow is the national day here, so I might not have the time. But if I do, pics you shall have. Took none in Malmø, as I was busy ogling Boys and Kids. And accidentally groping .. eh .. I mean touching Donnie's face (he walked into my hands face first when he came out from under the stage, I swear).

But yes, pictures are coming. And probably some talk of the concert as well. And maybe a pic of me with smiling Nick (and three other dudes) and a very short Howie D (the D is important man, IMPORTANT!)

Tomorrow I am off to Camp. And yes, I am updating just so I can say that!!! Yay!!!

It's almost time for Camp again, and as always it's going to be EPIC! I can't wait to see everyone again, and have at the very least one pixy stix induced sugar high. Still have to get my plane tickets though, but me booking those a few weeks before is nothing new. I keep telling myself that next year I'll book months in advance, and it never actually happens, lol.

In other news, I got offered field work for the spring!! The offer is from April 16th to the end of June, but I have no idea where I'll be (only that it's a couple of hours away, so I'll have to move away for a bit). I could be in one place, or bouncing about living like a traveling archaeologist in hotels and/or (more likely) camping sites. Still, it's a job, and it's valuable experience I'll need if I want to one day get a full time job.

And, best part, they are ok with me taking a week off for Camp, which is awesome!

It does mean I'll have to try and freeze my gym membership (I don't want to pay for two months when I won't be able to go for those months) and get my money back for my riding lessons. Still, it should be fun. Though, I do hope there is internet, as I don't think I can survive with just my phone and pad for the whole time. Yes, internet junkie = me! LOL.

So, yay job, and yay Camp. This is looking like it'll be quite the awesome spring!

Nick singing Falling Down, which is one of my fave songs off this album, dedicated to Leslie. This is making me tear up a little (ok, a lot). And, strange as it is, smile at how good he is sounding and the fact that he is playing the guitar all by himself (Nick grew up!). It feels almost wrong to say, think or type, but I hope he has his loved one with him on tour, and hope he is back with the Boys soon, so his family can help him through this.

Finally got around to reading my MTYG story this year, and you guys, it's the most awesome story ever!!!!

It is with a sad heart I have decided to stop paying to keep my Nick site up online. I had always thought I would come back to it after I finished my master degree, but it just doesn't interest me anymore. I will always be a fan of the Boys, and you know my love for Nick is still there (even after multiple viewings of House of Carters, lol), but I just don't have the time to spend updating the site anymore.

So, today I went and deleted the domain named associated with it. So from today, it is off the internet. I still have a ton of media collected on my externals, so if JM is unavailable, you know where to go ;) Unless it's from the past few years, in which case you are outta luck and I haven't had time to download and watch everything.

It's the end of an era for me, as I did run the site for almost eleven years. But now I just don't have the money to spend on it anymore. My fiction site (and Mette's) are up for now, but I am considering just keeping my fiction here at DW and at AO3, as I never actually update the site anymore either...

Had my oral exam for my masters degree today, and I can now officially say that I have a masters degree in archaeology! And what grade did I get for my thesis?

I GOT A B!!!!!!!!!

I haven't stopped smiling for hours! All that hard work, and now I am finally done, and it was all worth it!

So for today, I plan on watching some more Justified season two, which I finally got on DVD (hence the pretty man in my icon). And then tomorrow I'll have to start thinking of MTYG and get that done as well.

Oh, and aside from finishing my thesis (writing about half in the last week, cause I like punishing myself or something), I also managed to get NaNo done this year! 37k word in ten days... MTYG should be a walk in the park shouldn't it (except I have no plot, at all...).

I just handed in my thesis. With 32 minutes left on the clock.

My hands are shaking a little.

One. Freaking. Week

In one week, my thesis has been handed in.

Hopefully with everything it needs, and with me happy about what I am handing in. Until that time, sleep is overrated, coffee is the new oxygen, smoking is back on (I am seruously killing myself trying to keep from going back to 5/10+ a day), and as far as a social life is conserned, its social life, WHAT social life???

And yes, panic attack #1 was had last night, I expect more of those, along with a few WTF was I thinking even trying to do this and one or two FUCK THIS!

So here's to seven more days flist, and then I can actually focus on my NaNo, spend time with friends, get my ass back to the gym, look at my MTYG assignment (followed by panic attack #37658475, which by then should be business as usual), and get get excited about camp next year and marathon NKOTBSB and NC vids on YT.

I miss you all.

And that about sums up my comments after a first watch. The song is decent enough, could be a good club tune (if people have no idea who's it is, the stigma of being Nick Carter will probably keep a lot of DJs from playing it...) The video is Nick, with some emoting, what passes for dancing in his world, and moves we've seen before in BSB videos.

Like twirling! Seriously, it's worth it if only for the twirl moment. Like watching the Pendant, which is totally worth it for the emoting at the end.

I got three tickets, section 110, row E. So I have two tickets to spare. I could only afford to do three...

Anyhow, who needs a ticket? And anyone happen to know if those are at all good seats? I haven't got a clue!! LOL.
